dear people I'm considering SMP and would appreciate any advice. In recent years I've been treated for cancer (radiotherapy, chemotherapy). I'm in remission but still take medication. I lost some hair due to chemotherapy 2 yrs back which never really grew back and I was beginning to thin anyhow. I'm basically fed up with the state of my hair and I'm interested in SMP as a low maintenance solution and a boost to my confidence. However given the battering my immune system has had over the years and the high probability that at some point my cancer will return I need some informed advice. I have MRI scans every 6 months and this might be an issue in terms of the ink if it has a high metal content. If anyone has been in a similar position it'd be great to hear of your experiences Many thanks in advance Moth
bald5 posted a topic in American ForumHi guys, Here is my patch test results from the new york office. My doctor helped me to take the picture with high details. I know they are using 3 pointed needle. To my surprise the image indicates there are three tiny dots for every punch instead of one dot as I original thought. Is this normal?
Hello gents Got my first patch test 2 weeks ago in Miami Excellent customer service Asked for a light color and small dots cause I shave with a razor everyday and Im not going for a "buzz" look Practitioner used #36, made small dots on a scar I have and bigger ones next to it Did not hurt much Test cost $100 First 6 photos - 1 week after treatment - freshly shaved - dots are too dark - 5 of 6 photos taken under SMP "unfriendly lightning" http://s1279.photobucket.com/user/UsernamemanresU1/library/albumNumber1 http://s1279.photobucket.com/user/UsernamemanresU1/slideshow/albumNumber1 photos 7 through 9 - 12 days after treatment - dots seem to have "shrunk" and gotten a bit lighter - I had a hard time seeing the dots so I waxed that area after, did hurt a bit - Photos were taken in SMP friendly lightning because the camera needed 4that was not available - http://s1279.photobucket.com/user/UsernamemanresU1/library/albumNumber2 http://s1279.photobucket.com/user/UsernamemanresU1/slideshow/albumNumber2 Photos 9, 10 - 2 weeks after treatment - just a close up under SMP friendly lightning http://s1279.photobucket.com/user/UsernamemanresU1/library/albumNumber3 http://s1279.photobucket.com/user/UsernamemanresU1/slideshow/albumNumber3 I will take some more photos under SMP "friendly and unfriendly" lightnings soon. Dots look smaller/lighter and closer to what I d like but I think #36 is still too dark even after "fading". Id like the light, freshly shaved look shown on photo # . Which shade do you guys recommend ??? THANK YOU !
