  1. What I'll look?

Hello to you all! I'm 27 and I'm thinking to do SMP treatment within three weeks. My hair loss greatly affects my mood and forbids me to be happy and living my life fully. I think about this treatment, because surgery does not seem a viable option at my age (maybe one day with the development of hair cloning (not right away!)). In addition I want to stop finasteride because it is not a treatment ... without risk (but i don't really have sides effect for now)! So I photoshoped a picture of me without hair with a shaved hair effect. Can you give me your opinion? I'm a pretty skinny guy so I'm afraid of the result. My girlfriend says she does not hate it ... Me... I do not know. Do you think that will give me a similar result like the photo? I have a NW3. Thank you to you all. Sorry for my English. I am a French Canadian.
  2. Firstly I've stuck this in the most popular section of the forums if you wish to move it to a more barren wasteland spot feel free Damien haha. As most of you will know, I tend to keep up with the latest in hair-loss treatments and the such and know a fair bit about each, one I've been following for about 3 or so years since I learned of it is called Histogen, I've mentioned it a few times around the board when people ask things like what's on the market and what's coming they always talk about this '10 year' rule in hair-loss (a cure is coming in 10yrs) I think these days most have learned that's very much a pipe-dream by big companies seeking better funding. However 10 years for new options etc is something I do believe in. Histogen's been a thing for a while now I think it was being discussed about 2yrs before I even looked into it and they were keeping all of the cards very close to chest, last I checked phase 2 of trial's was being begun, I imagine now that has reached closing thus why they've released more information about what they are doing. How does it work though? is it a painstaking process of session after session of something uncomfortable? I wont go into great deal, the video will explain the more finer points but basically they inject a solution into the scalp which has protein's in and whatever else they mix in, as some of you may know, hair is protein or if you didn't well now you do, so feeding it protein makes perfect sense. What does it achieve? Significant increase in hair growth of vellus and even some dormant (presumed dead) follicles, typically improvements are marked at 3 months. Last I checked they'd done 1 set of injections on trialist's one time, which they left for a year and still seen improvements beyond the year. Thought i'd share this with the masses here as some may be quite interested, the data and results do seem very promising and worthy of being the 'next big thing' in hair-loss. Anyways here's the video of Histogen released at the last convention in October 2013, with some image's of results and a lot more information about everything to do with it than they've ever released to the public before.

  4. Alopecia Areata at an early age.

Hey, I've created this topic because I feel the people in this forum will understand more than anyone what people with any form of alopecia or hair loss have to go through... So I have had Alopecia since I was 16 I'm currently 19 years old. I have been to over 7 different hospitals/clinics because they didn't know what was causing my hair loss at an early age, they thought it may have been stress related.. eventually at 17 they found it to be Alopeicia Areata and started giving me some treatment for the hair loss.. I tried many different Creams, Liquids, home remedy's nothing seemed to help if anything it felt like it only slowed down the process. Eventually I decided to grow my hair to cover the patches where Alopecia Areata was obvious and have been doing so ever since... I hate having to feel like I'm constantly hiding something from my friends, family, social environments.. I will be honest and say I have lost a lot of confidence whilst having Alopecia and it has stopped me from being in a working environmental and social environments on many occasions. I fortunately found HisHair in January 2013, which has given me a great amount of confidence and hope although as the high cost price I haven't yet been able to get the treatment I want. I have seen many videos of the transformations you have created and I'm so happy that there is a company out there supplying this amazing service. Thanks~Kevin
  5. Before my treatment I have been suffering hair loss since my early 20's. When the progression of my hair receding happened, I felt that I looked older and began to accept the fact that there was nothing I could do about it. Fast forward to recent times, I have discovered HIS during my search for a solution to my hair loss. one link lead me to a video to hair pigmentation and bam! found HIS. After 2 years of following the site I have decided to give it a go. pictures before 1 session below My first treatment with Ranbir at the S.F. opening was great. I was a bit nervouse at first, but everyone at the Clinic made you feel comfortable which got me more excited about starting. The treatment didn't hurt at all at first but there were some tender spots...wasn't to bad though. here is the results after my first treatment My next treatment is in L.A. with Zeng....Can't wait!!!
