HH2 posted a topic in British ForumHello guys, I have done my 3rd session recently about 3 weeks ago elsewhere and not by hishair and not really happy with some of the details ,just wondering some of you with more experience could shed some light. I tried to post some pics ,but seems it against the rules of forum ,so I am going to explain. I was Norwood 7 , and treatment was done 3 weeks ago ,however I have problem finding best solution to cover the crown and it is not blended very good or maybe I am too sensitive and it is what it is ? Since you cannot see the pics , you can not judge , but can you please tell me how good the border between your SMP and real hair looks like when looking in the mirror( at the BACK of head specifically) ? is it very noticeable by your eyes ? slightly noticeable ? I am not sure what is the problem ,the SMP ,the way I shave ? or density ? For shaving , I have tried a 8000 braun foil shaver (10years old) whichI used to use for shaving beard but since it's gets all hair to the skin, the result was awful and disconnected, so I tried this Philips clipper https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00BN1TW7C/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and with this one I get as short as 0.5 . for the front look it's perfect ,, but problem is on the crown. I can not find any way to solve that . I have booked another session for assessment but if not getting best solution from there ,I am happy to reconsider other options . Regarding the shaver , is there anything in the market ,that gets shorted than 0.5 (to the dots) , but not getting to the skin ? do you think maybe that could help ? How some of you wet shave or use rotary and get to the skin , but don't get disconnected from SMP dots ? Appreciate all the help guys , Cheers
About 10 months ago I was told by a close friend that my crown area was thinning. Being only 19 this was a massive shock for me and for the following weeks sent me into panic mood as most of you guys can probably relate to. Since then I have been taking finasteride prescribed from my doctor after he confirmed my hair loss and am lucky to have experienced no side effects at all. After an initial shed my hair has for the last 8 months completely stopped falling out and I will probably continue to take this after my SMP procedures. Although it doesnt look like much hair loss it is also generally thinner at the back and when cut shorter is more noticeable or in the rain/after a shower. After weeks of researching I stumbled upon scalp micropigmentation and at first didn't believe it but after seeing photos from experienced practitioners know believe it is the answer to my hair loss I had been seeking. I have been saving my money from my part time job for just over half a year now and almost have enough for this procedure. I originally wanted to get my SMP done with HISHair but living in Ireland there was no clinic nearby. However, there was another clinic from another company so I booked a consultation. However, after talking with two practitioners of this company which I will not name I got the vibe that they were inexperienced and just after my money as they didn't seem to ask questions other then about payment and just generally seemed unprofessional and untrustworthy. After this when I got home I immediately checked prices for flights to Britain and found them to be far cheaper than expected. So with this and with the numerous ridiculously good results from HISHair and especiall the unbiased forums I decided to firmly go with HIS. I currently have only hair loss around the crown area but a small amount (pics below) so I hope to be able to be able to shave my head every few days at a 0 or 0.5 blade if I stay within my hairline. I am creating this diary as I know how much other people's diaries helped me especially YoungBaldGuy's as I related most to his. I would love some feed back from you guys discussing my options or giving me ideas. I believe I could grow my hair to a short stubble or maybe even having a mohawk but to the right of my crown and to the left of some small bald spots of which I dont have a pic but are noticeable with shorter hair. I have always like the look of a shaved head.
