  1. ++++ and love the hairline, mate, helps to make it look real! thanks for sharing!
  2. Hi!

actually, i think thats an excelent question, Hedges!! As fas as I know, at HIS , all "colors" are actually a variation of Blacks or greys. The same ink is used for all "colors", and diluted more or less depending on the intensity desired. The idea is that all hair of all colors looks like grey dots when it is shaved. The practitioner (PCT) will evaluate your shaved hair, skin tone and other factors and select a shade of ink that they will obtain by diluting that black ink more or less. They will attempt to match your follicles that are shaved with an electric shaver, which is less close of a shave than a wet shave. Why? because if they match a wet shave , you will be obliged to wet shave every few hours to match existing hair with a very light SMP. Also, with the electric shave, your follicles appear a bit darker, and the smp can be made a bit darker to match, which gives you a fuller appearance and also allows the hair and SMP to match for more time between shaves, if that makes sense. The PCT will select a shade at first session, or maybe several, for different parts of scalp, and then will evaluate that shade upon your return for following sessions,, and keep same shade or go lighter or darker as needed. Every scalp retains pigment differently. A shade 28 is 1 part pigment and 28 parts dilution, and a 32 is 1 part pigment for 32 dilution. So a smaller number represents a darker mix. sometimes, a 1 is used, for dark african-descent clients, and even then its not dark enough. As far as shine, all heads can shine when shaved, even the ones with lots of hair. there are several antishines out there, just do a search on this forum!! best of luck mate, and good on ya for doing your research!
  3. Slanted, uneven hairline

sorry , Ciro, i can't really see the slant on these photos, amigo, hairline is nicely faded too, not a sharp straight line looks like good work from here!!!
  4. SMP pictures from behind on the scalp.

Hey 3c, might want to look at simple treatments for skin redness, try googling " natural remedies to reduce skin redness", theres green tea, cucumber, arnica, or hydrocortisone cream , try small patch (poundland, one quid) best of luck mate, keep us posted
  5. Nervous black guy lol

you'lle be fine , man, everyone is a bit nervous going in! those shiny paint jobs were not done by HIS, mate! Good that you know what you want , that helps a lot.
  6. Hey Rekke, just wanted to add my 2 cents here. 1. As far as Ive observed, it is VERY common for smp clients to have attacks of anxiety, buyer's remorse, panic after smp, at any stage in the process. I felt something similar when I had mine done, it was quite unsettling and I got through it. 2. You've had 3 sessions already, so you know that when you get SMP, most of the ink is in the little scab-dot on top of the skin, so when you walk out it looks way stronger, and after a few days , when you rinse , it washes off and is less strong. Then the dots fade even more during the first 3-4 weeks, and only then can you really see what your SMP will look like. So you have to wait at least 4 weeks, and then look at it. 3. Right now, you look fine, mate. Ask anyone who does not know you , first of all they wont even know you had smp, and second, i dont think anyone could notice a slight difference in "hairline" position from one side to the other, unless you asked them to really analyse you and pointed it out. I can barely see a difference myself, and as Ego showed with your photos, its dificult to tell any difference in your photos from one side to the other. 4. its very rare for anyone to have a perfectly symmetrical hairline, or perfect symmetry anywhere on the face, most people have an eye larger or higher than the other, or an ear higher, or slight differences from one side to the other. You might have slight differences in your face from one side to the other, and thats not because of smp. So a slight variation of a few millimeters in the hairline placement on the sides is not a big deal. My smp is not symetrical, because my head is not symmetrical. 4. Very good that you did not go too low on the hairline at the front. that looks good, and if you had gone too low, thats more difficult to correct. Most likely, the practitioner would not have placed the hairline too low, even if you had begged and signed a piece of paper. 5. Sure, you can ask for small adjustments at the next session, should not be a problem. your HIS practitoner will see any difference and correct if needed. 6. Very last option is laser: you can always lase away a little here and there to adjust, which is very cool indeed (try that with transplants!). There is also another way to remove smp, with salt-saline , or other agents which are delivered into the skin with a needle just like smp ink, and may be less costly and painful. But i think you are far from that right now 7. before you do anything, look at your before and after photos: i imagine that you look waaaay better now. You were balding then, and now you have a full head of hair!! come on, man! Bottom line , in my opinion, honestly you look really good now and will look better in 3 weeks, I cant really see a noticeable difference fom side to side, and small corrections can be made at next session , no worries. You might need more density on top, as it still looks a bit thin in spots on some photos. By the way, aside from having SMP myself, I've trained as a practitioner, ive done a few treatments myself and have seen many more, if that helps. Best wishes, mate!
  7. wow, Top notch work, mate!! On some photos , it appears you took them shortly after the treatment? so thats why the dots appear a bit strong? Other photos it looks like they are taken after the first session , so the dots are still far apart, and more are added at the 2nd and 3d sessions. Anyway, its hard to tell what is your hair and what is smp. Andra is really good, and she delivers natural results, shes done thousands of SMPs. congratulations, you must be super happy!
  8. Hey Guys and Gals: good news! I've been told that there are some other trainees who need models , at HIS in Birmingham, for SMP. This would be for treatment starting in July. Please email me at cpfmailbox1@gmail.com now, and give me an idea of your hair situation, and send a couple of pics if poss. and I'll put you in touch with the right people at His management., you deal directly with them. (note: I'm not 100% sure of it will be free or not, but you can work that out with them, in any case it will be an awesome deal.) Last time I posted offering free smp (in May 2017, i think) , I selected 3 candidates from the very first responders, and they are now one session away from being done with their free HIS smp. If you wait and think too much, it will be over. If you're interested, pull the trigger now. hope to hear from you soon Good luck Charlie dated June 9 2017 ps: im not getting anything out of this, just trying to help other trainees, and help a few of you guys get the deal of a lifetime.
  9. NOW GET A FREE SMP AT HIS !!

By the way, I will be relocating to the Los Angeles area in California at the end of summer, and I will be practicing there , maybe not under the HIS banner because they already have a franchise location there, but those details will be finalized quite soon. Clearly, I do not wish or pretend to compete with HIS, after all they trained me and shared so much during my time with them in Birmingham, and they have been extremely generous, noble and gracious, a class act! I do however want to practice what I've learned, and add to it my 20+ years of medical , aesthetic and dental knowledge to do the absolute best SMP treatments and help as many guys and gals out there, so I'll be around one way or another. I can always be contacted via this forum, for any help, question, or just to hook up and talk about SMP or related, we're all brothers and sisters here. best to all charlie
  10. NOW GET A FREE SMP AT HIS !!

Hi Guys, apologies for the delay in posting. As I shared with many of you who responded, the final selection of candidates for the free treatment has concluded,, and I have started sessions for them, in Birmingham, the headquarters of HIS. Sadly, I cannot do all of you, I would if I could. I want to thank and congratulate the guys who took the chance to respond, send pics, and make themselves available, and for trusting me with their treatment. So far they are very happy, and \i will post their smps from beginning to end, when completed. So at this point, I have to end the offer as it stands, and there is no point in responding to the post for a free SMP anymore. However, for those who were kind enough to respond and were not selected, I've been working on arranging a special deal for you. It won't be free, but it should be an exceptional opportunity. I will have specifics very soon, and will contact you via a private message on this board, or email if you shared it with me. Big thanks to HIS, for the top notch training, supervision and support that I received throughout, and to the creators and moderators of this amazing forum for making it possible to share so much knowledge and resources. Charlie
