  1. A few questions regarding SMP

Speak to your practitioner about your concerns and desires during your consultation. I went into my treatments with more hair than many of the cases I've seen on here. He was able to do a great job blending the SMP into my existing hair.

I'm trying now. Having a very hard time uploading photos...
  4. 2nd session NYC

Hi all, I had my first session on 4/15 at the NYC office. Everything went well and I was told the following week that my scalp had healed and retained the pigment well. I'm very happy with the progress so far, I am aiming for a very natural look with a widow's peak shape that will age well. Here are two photos: before SMP and one day after the second session (4/22), so there is still a lot of redness. Let me know what you think, thanks.
  5. Post-session 1 healing

I did, but I just wanted to see how people dealt with many remaining scabs. I want to err on the side of caution when shaving/washing because I know that removing them prematurely can increase fading. I'll post photos after my second session. Thanks!
  6. Post-session 1 healing

Were you able to use shampoo without a problem by day 5?
  7. Post-session 1 healing

Hi guys, I'm on the 5th day after my first session, and almost all of my pigment spots are still covered by tiny scabs. Does it typically take longer than this before they naturally fall off? My 2nd session is in 2 days and I will put off shaving as long as possible since I don't want to disturb them. Any feedback is appreciated.
  8. Anyone in NYC want to meet up?

When I did my consult I met with a visiting practitioner who is a black guy with a darker skin tone. It looked very good but I'd still like to see a white guy with SMP in person. Thanks!
  9. Hi, I'm planning to have SMP done and would like to see it in person on someone (preferably a pale-ish white guy similar to my complexion) who is happy with their result. Willing to meet up anywhere convenient in NYC. Please let me know! John
