Lad, thanks for you post of pics.

Your before shots are certainly Norwood 98832372839. Geez Louise, I don't think anyone could blame you for getting smp. My goodness gracious that desert on your head my friend has not seen water since 1812 b.c.

Smp certainly ressurrected your shiney ass dome head back to life. Holy moly what a before and after. You my friend were blessed and lucky Ian Watson and his partner came up with smp bc dude without it there would be a drought on your head for the next million years. Ouch!!!

Your after shots compared to your before should be on Maury poovich look at me now. Nice after shots for sure.

Your results look good. Some ppl I've seen have gigantic dots on their head after. Yours however looks reasonably good. Pls post more pics. Thank you for your post with great detail, it's helps those of us considering smp.

You get called out, you get called out. It sucks but for petes sake own up to it. I think all the shiny baldies on here are infatuated with the idea that they can fool ppl who already seen their shiny dome bald head for years. All of sudden you went from nothing on your head to something????? Right that's like saying hey man I seen grass grow on concrete and it was never there before .... don't set yourself up for failure thinking this is bullet proof for not getting called out.

Come on guys be real if smp makes you feel better then that's great. But you gotta be realistic to the idea that you will get called out. Imo it's like seeing a girl with a cups one week then the next week she all of a sudden has d cups??? And then the lady trying to pretend like it was there all along. Like nothing happened her melons just got swole? Lmfao

More and more companies are doing what hishair started. It's everywhere I seen a guy at a restaurant last week and to me it was bullseye he got the treatment done. But he seemed like he didn't care and that's good cause why should he. If you are considering this treatment do it for you and no one else. Someone calls you out, own it and move on with your day.

Again What I am getting at is if you get called out then own it. You look even more foolish when u don't own it and next thing u know someone wants to run their hands or fingers through your head to make a point and boom guess who looks like the fool.

All the folks on you tube who have this done rock it with integrity and are not shy or ashamed to Let everyone know they got work done....So why would any of you ? It seems like someone gets called out and they get butt hurt and sensitive lmfao man the f$&@ up.

I was at the mall over the holidays and I saw this African American guy who had smp. It was way too obvious, dude looked like an idiot trying to fool people with smudge on his head. Hope everyone had a great new year.

Exactly.  I've had SMP for over a year now and have never had anyone question anything.  It's always just "Why do you shave your head??? You have a full head of hair!"

I was late to this thread and was going to suggest getting the 4th treatment. I got my fourth earlier in the summer. Prior to that my crown area still looked thin or balding. I was fine with it as I thought it was a more age appropriate look. Then I figured, wtf might as well get it perfect.  I'm glad I did it. It all blends nicely now and I've never been happier with my head in the last 20 years.

Thanks for comments mike, yeh gainz what it is mate if u ever see any one with a shaved head who has a full head of hair it is a smudge, because you have a sheet of follicles that makes a shadow. One example is tom hardy in the film the deserter when he's sitting round the table with a wet shaved head it looks no different to smp. That's why I don't agree with people who go for a buzzed look, if that's the look your after then smp isn't for you. SMP replicates a shaved shadow, not hair. I recommend it to anybody I look a million times better than what I did. One example was a customer said to me why do you shave your head I bet you have such lovely hair if you didn't keep shaving it.. Hahahahha 1-0. Knowone knows seriously..

Really? Did you do this so you won't get called "bald" anymore? I just had my first treatment, and I fucking love it, it's not even that visible, but it boosts my self confidence through the roof. Another thing is, you really care what a bunch of douche's at party think? lol No matter if you have hair, or anything else, you are ALWAYS going to face criticism, its some humans being humans. People judge you on weight, height, skin color, wealth.. its always going to be there! Man up, own that confidence, start working out, get swole, play sports. We have guys that are just like that KILLING THE GAME. The ROCK is one of the biggest super stars on the planet right now, Jason Statham is a fking top action star! Stone cold, Patrick Stewart. Tyrese, these people don't even have SMP! They are full bald! The SMP is just a bonus for us bald guys, you need to work on YOUR inner self. Lastly, what kind of party are you at where people can joke on you? Are they your friends? If so I wouldn't care, but if a bunch of strangers start talking shit, either I'm leaving or I am fighting.

Well guys, I've had it for 2 years, considered taking it off for one year. I'm 23 now. I feel like I'm hiding something. I'd rather be bald and confident than fake confident with smp on my head. I'm a handsome man so I'll be fine. Being bald isn't a big deal anyways. I mainly got it because medication took my hair away. Going for the bald and beard look. It was cool renting a hairline but the truth sets you free!

    Hishair98,

Great points all around my friend. Probably the best post i've read on here so far.

I'm not so sure if i'm ready to go with going from an 8 to a 3 real quick with the how quickly lighting can change. Its like seeing a girl in the dark and then in the light and we all know how that goes. Buddy i'm dipping real quick no wing man here.

The concern with lighting is a big thing though. People who enjoy going out summers or take frequent vacations to beaches or hot spots around the world who have smp, will have their smp disappear at the hands of the sun and re-appear at sunset.

Totally agree with you there, the majority of the people who have it do say it is worth it as oppose to the people who wish they have never got it done. I guess for me it's really considering all aspects of this treatment.

This forum certainly helps especially when i read posts like yours.

I can see what you're talking about. But I have to really analyze the pic. Not sure if it's the lighting or whatever but in all honesty it does look decent to me.

Thanks for all the shots in multiple lighting conditions. As I would have thought before the treatment looks so different in many aspects of different lighting. There is no solid consistency as lighting certainly plays a crucial role with smp.

    1st photo- looks good

3rd photo- to me looks like there are 3 different shades of color here. The darkest on top, mid dark color in the middle and lightest near the body. It's like napoleon ice cream with three different colors.

    4th photo- looks patchy

    5th photo- looks good

    6th photo- looks good

Last photo- clearly looks like nothing is there at all.

Mach 3, totally agree with you less is more with the touch ups and yes we need more pics of people who have had this longer than 5 years.

For me that's the key. If I can find enough hard evidence of people who have had this treatment for a lengthy amount of time (5 years and up) with no issues and next to no fading no helmet looks and no smudge. I would book it for sure. I'm lucky I'm not a bald shiny ass dome head yet. I'm certainly heading in that direction I'd say 4 to 5 years and I'll be one of those dudes. But hopefully I can get what I'm looking for on this site that will lead me into booking with hishair.

i'd like to know this too.
Wht happens when you go for touch up sessions to deal with fading down the track..? will it look the same, because I sure hope so..
Imean if I got it done last year and i need a touch up in 2 years time, what happens when I need another touch up after that? Will it look the same??

My fringe hair is primarily gray. And honestly, I'd wondered, also, if that might've excluded me from SMP candidacy.
So I discussed this concern during my initial consult. My soon-to-be practitioner explained how he blends the pigment seamlessly into the existing hairline of any color, including gray.

All SMP pigments are shades of gray. Yet a client can have any hair color from blonde to red to brown or black. And gray hair is no different than any other color, because – as Ed said – SMP is follicle-based.

Furthermore, closely-buzzed gray hair does not visually appear gray. The predominant SMP pigmentation shade is the "workhorse" of the illusion, providing a framework for having a well-blended and integrated finished result.

The blending of my topside into the gray areas happened during #2. It looks fantastic, and will look even better in a couple of days when I can do my first post-#2 shampoo and shave.

I felt this to be a significant advantage to me, because I would be getting a *double* benefit: regaining my hairline, and also overcoming my gray look.

    Hope that helps.
