  1. I Am In Need Of Your Sage Advice Gents

Damien, I have thought about going a bit longer with my cut, but it would still only be a temp cover up for the fading and darkness issue of the frontal region and I would loose the look of the cohesive whole.

Here are some images hopefully they show what I mean.
  3. At the moment I am two and a bit weeks post 2nd session, I have small áreas of fading mainly where my hairline was lowered and broken from my 1st season when it was too linear and obvious. My issue is this; when I shave with an r91 my side profiles are non exsistant and because of the lightness of my smp it does not look like I have a full head of hair. The smp only really blends in with my hair after 48hrs when my remaining hair gives a 3D look and the smp looks less flat. My question is do I go darker on top to better blend with my hair, or get my side profiles filled in? Im at a bit of a loss about where to go next, Im due an hour and half touch up in Birmingham in a couple of weeks to address the fading issues with #### Clarke and while thus far I have found the whole experience very positive, I would not be being truthful if I say I was 100% happy with the hairline and hair/smp contrast, but I also realise that many people need 3 treatments to iron out any issues. Any input would be most greatfully received.

Hi Guys, I had my second session with Jon yesterday a Harley St. Jon was again, as ever, the total professional and a genuinely nice fella who when workin would put the focus of a vascular Dr to shame. I have been lucky, and hope it holds, in that I have bled very little and thus my fading has be minimal. I took the opportunity on this occasion to change my hairline from soft and linear to a more broken Windows peak, we were conservative at first and this allowed the ammendment on the 2nd session. The first image is after my first real R91 shave and under the lights at work, and the rest are at various stages today, I will be putting more up tomorrow. Cheers...

I told a couple who im particularly close to, but last night I was on a night shift so managed to only really bump in to half a dozen, I'm going to hid away in theatres tomorrow, so should be able to get no 2 out of the ways and have 4 days off after this one. Im not that fussed to be honest I feel trepidation like anyone else but I know one guy who had FUE, another two girls who had breast implants and at least 4 who had their eyes lazered. I have come to the conclusion that If the want to talk about my hair fine go ahead but: 'todays news is tomorrows chip paper'. Any one who has been bald for a while know at times when your having the pissed ripped out of you or a girl makes a comment, or your just with your younger mates in a bar and they are all gelled up and your shining like the feckin moon knows real soul aching embarrassment, doing something about it is ownership. It also helps that I have a caustically sarcastic sense of humour when pushed, so if they play with fire....

So far so good Robbie, it takes time to adjust, I think because I dont really care who notices that I have had I done, I work in a brightly lit A&E with hyper acutely aware medics i'm just getting on and enjoying the experience. I do however thing the hairline can give the game away. This is why the week break is also a good thing because you have the to reflect and any issues can be resolved with regard to style or shade choice.

Ok, cheers Robbie I will knock it on the head then.

Hiya Guys, bought the R91 in prep for.todays wash and shave, mainly because this was only post my first session with Jon and my 'dots' were still large and not fully blended with my original hair. my first thoughts were flamin hell thats short and the hair line is way to linear, I also mixed a bit of pure & matt and some Dove with bronzer to dull down the difference between my scalp and profiles and my dots. Heres a few images will do some more in 12 hrs when it settles.

Woke up this morning, the SMP has dulled and faded from its initial dark colour, the redness has totally gone and now looks dotty against my remaining hair and I'm still 24hrs from my 1st wash and shave. I got to admit I had the waves of utter panic but realise from all I have read on this forum over the months before my procedure that its pretty standard and par for the course.
