Damien or anyone who has knowledge. Is it ok if I take pain killers right before my procedure or is not recommended? Heading in for my 2nd session next week and I'm trying to play a little defense...haha. Don't be scared newbies its not that bad but Im kind of a baby :-)

I know Painkillers can cause slight excess of bleeding when getting tattoos and some tattooists go against them for this reason as some painkillers thin your blood but im not too sure with MHT as from what i saw in a video you dont bleed that much...

O87Paul25, Well in that case i probably shouldnt take anything and just take it like a man because I did actually have a little bleeding during my 1st session without taking any pills. Thanks man.

Quite a few people use painkillers before their sessions. Reflecting 087Paul25's comments, I would be tempted to avoid aspirin

Don't worry quite so much as some people don't have any pain at all. I thought it was going to be painful. I've never had a tattoo etc....and lo and behold I felt almost no pain.
You never know ..but bringing along pain killers is probably not a bad thing as long as your not driving home afterward by yourself?
