Hi guys, after doing a ridiculous amount of research on HIS and MHT, I have decided to attempt to put my hair loss worries behind me for good. I've seen near enough every before and after photo available on this site and forum, watched every video I could find and spoken to Ian personally at my consultation at the Birmingham clinic. I'm travelling to Birmingham tomorrow, staying overnight and going in for my first procedure on Saturday morning.
I'm really excited to see the beginnings of my new head of 'hair' and hopeful that it looks as good on me as i've seen on others. I've had a rough couple of years (due to a lot of stuff, not hair loss related) and my confidence has taken a major hit. I've not been living my life the way I want to due to this lack of confidence and am kinda trying to rebuild everything right now - taking positive steps forward in every way I can. My decision to go ahead with MHT is part of that.
I have found the diaries on this forum very helpful in making my decision and feel that it's only fair for me to document my own personal experience with pics, etc.
Here's a few 'before' shots. I normally shave my head against the grain every day, so no-one in my day-to-day life has ever seen my hair this long (well, not since before I started receding).
