Hi Guys,
I want to go darker?

Just wanted your advice or an answer to this question...I had the treatment done in December 2010, with initially the normal two sessions. It started to fade so in February 2011 I went for another session to fill in gaps and make it darker. Now, since then I feel that the treatment has faded on my crown and that I do want to go a lot darker. Will I have to pay extra on top? I've paid the full price for the whole head - I didn't have to pay for the Feb treatment, so just wondering what you guys thought?ThanksAbzPosted 4 months ago #

if you want to go darker than the previously agreed upon look/style. then i think they will charge you for going darker. but if it faded to the point that the agreed upon look is not achieved within the 12 month guarantee then they will fix you up with no cost.
do you mind sharing pictures and a bit of some story with your 2 year experience with mht? comments and how it change your life? Thanks and goodluckPosted 4 months ago # -
I agree with Andrewmatias, best bet is to call the clinic for a definitive answer
I am based in the UK and spend a lot of time at the Harborne clinic in Birmingham, managing the website and forum. Want to contact me? Send me a PM or email me - damien@hishairclinic.com

@ AbzY...
I’m getting this treatment done soon. I wanted to ask you two questions.
1. Were you pleased with your over all treatment
2. Do you think this treatment has a real serious potential to considerably fade in a short period of time. Meaning the look will only last a few short years before having to get a touch up.

Wanting to go darker or wanting to look natural are two different things. At first when I had my treatment done I kept thinking the same thing. However as the treatment neared an end I could see that my practitioner had chosen correctly and it had to match my follicles at a shaved natural state. I was so used to having a couple of days growth before the treatment which was of course darker as not shaved. To me the density is the major player and also the grooming of your hair, because if these are not correct then it may look balder. Get yours assessed and see what HIS say as they are the people to ask, not us without pictures. As for me I am very happy with my treatment.
