This hair loss situation has taken over my life, i had a hair transplant a year ago to help my appearance but doesn't look good so now i shave my head down to a 1 and i have a scar on the back of my head.I had hair put in the front either side of my widows peak i was left with at the front and some in the crown but its odd looking compared to my other hair its thin and dark looking and crown is really thin and i have a few small red marks that wont go.Im getting my scar carmouflaged next week so i can shave my head to a 0 but im still worried the transplanted hair will still look odd were it grows through on my scalp.ANY ADVICE?
Im too shit scared to do any mht on top my head because of my bad ht experience and the touch up's i hear about and how its going to look when im older put me off and also fading.
Help me because im going crazy constantly thinking about my hair!!

Frontal hair is, in my opinion. the most valuable when getting MHT. When people look at your hair that's what they see first so the texture will just make the MHT look amazing. LPP's treatment shows this brilliantly.

The reason I don't think anyone should worry about getting MHT is because the worst that ever seems to happen, is that it doesn't quite live up to expectations, which can be rectified. No matter how disappointing the procedure might be, it's always an improvement on your hair loss situation- I don't think they've ever messed up someone's head.

Currently saving up for MHT, aim to get it done by May/ June

Using dermmatch on my frontal hairline and also to replicate shaved follicles on my side profiles.

ok thanks for reply im just scared of the thought of it and the future.Defintley getting scar done see how that holds up first, i really think i need to see people who dont work at HIS who have had it done in person to decrease my huge anxiety.I dont want to wet shave though buti m used to shaving my head to a 0 prior to my ht operation so thats not a issue

They did a great job on my scar...although I can see it,nobody else notices it. That is good enough for me. So don't worry about the procedure. You are in the best possible hands for this type of hairloss treatment. They are open, honest and transparent about their work...unlike some companies I could mention:)

did you have a ht into your crown and how long did it take to grow?
im sure HIS are a great company but im scared shitless to to do anything other than my scar

Hey Haircules,

If you have the funds and time , check out a few more people to settle the butterflies, but try and get the treatment done ASAP. I'm not trying to push you into doing the MHT treatment, but it sounds like your having a real hard time dealing with the scar/hair loss and feeling suicidal is not how anyone should be living their life. The MHT treatment has given both me and my brother our lifes back and if it wasn't for HIS, we would be feeling the same way you do. There's nothing to be scared about and a whole lot to look forward to because the MHT treatment is the best a man can get! Your in safe hands dude, the practitioners and team members are amazing, they will always do everything in their power to put you back on the road to living a new and free life.

P.s I had lady today ask why I don't grown my hair and I just said I liked it short and that was it! :)

Haircules I think with your worry and state of mind over your hairloss you are going about it in the right way. Have the scar done and see how that looks first. I had MHT done a few weeks back in London and I can't praise it enough as it has worked for me and made me feel a million dollars. All the best and keep positive. BB

Had 3 sessions in London during January/February 2012. Very very happy :)

Haircules, dont panic and please take your time. Make the decision that is right for you, not a rushed decision based on spur of the moment anxiety.

If you want any advice, call us. We wont try to sell you a treatment. We're genuinely here to help.

Fodandahalf is quite right. The worst that can happen is that you dont like it, and we remove it. I still think you should be sure about your decision beforehand though, because although removing the treatment is easy, it is still likely to be an emotional rollercoaster that you dont need.

Take your time, talk to us if you need to, and make a decision you're comfortable with.

I use a Remington R91 everyday. The HT was in the frontal area, micro-grafts so you cannot really see any work done there, unlike the more obvious punch grafts.

Thanks for all your replys guys im just at the lowest point in my life, i even give up on my career as a PT and lost alot of friends because of my situation.
Living under a hat for 3 years has completely demoralised me and this scar im left with has made me worse just want to live a normal life again.
Me and my father are now going to pursue the place that gave me the hair transplant until i get my money back and hopefully use it to get this treatment instead on my head.
Does the fading,getting older,touch ups etc not bother you guys because thats what is holding me back the most?

Hey Haircules I'm about to get MHT done in February, can relate to your posts. I have been glued to this site for a year no lie. Looking at every video reading every post and heard nothing bad at all. The fading is a concern, but that will happen so slowly overtime. You will keep an eye on it and touch ups are at affordable rates it seems so no worries with that.
Getting older... I think there is nothing to fear at all as long as you choose a natural soft hairline. My stepdad has a full head of hair and he shaves his head to a 0 all over he is 60 years old and he looks great (lucky git) It does not look silly.

I recommend seeing it in person. I have had THREE consultations lol.
the first one I was just staring at Ian's head the whole time, I could not believe how good it looked. At this time I had hair still and was taking propecia (WORST DECISION EVER) plus minoxil and making the jump to a shaved was an idea I was not keen on.

I studied the site some more and started to like idea of having a shaved head, so I had another consultation and went to Birmingham and saw a few people with it and ever since I have been thinking this is the only solution for me.

3rd time lucky, had my consultation in London and now I am booked in.
I can't recommend enough meeting someone who has had it done or go for a consultation. They are down to earth and will listen and they spend their time with me (free coffee too :^) ) and did not push anything and put my mind at ease!

Mate I feel your pain,im sure anyone reading your story does.
I'm going through much the same anguish as it sounds like you are.
I've lived under a hat and under that hat is a toupee...no way to live...i'm actually a P.T myself and one of the great things about my job is i can wear a hat..sounds crazy but it's true.
Go into HIS and meet people,meet the staff, i wish i could..i live in New Zealand and so far no one on this forum i believe is from NZ..good to read about SandN_fromOz a couple of guys from aussie have down this..but man i wish i could pop into the studio and check it all out...i'm gonna fly to England to get this done and all i have to go on are the photos,videos and the words of all the forum users..but i just know in my gut instinct that MHT is the answer...
stay strong my friend..i understand you've been burnt with HT. etc.but HIS, im sure..i know is the way to true freedom from frikkin hats..and the dreaded MPB

Thats awesome mate, how exciting..i'm a wee way off getting over there and the excitement is already there for me let alone a week out, all the best and i hope to see some photos up if and when you feel comfortable.

Booked in to get MHT in Hong kong with Johnathan in July, worth the 12 hour flight(one way) from nz..plus i get to check out one of the great cities for a couple of weeks...
