My hair is dark blond/light brown and I worry that I am not going to have enough skin-hair contrast when I shave it down. I am mainly looking to get my hairline lowered, but would it be possible to also add ink to my whole head so that my hair looks darker and denser? I'm talking about darkening it just a few shades, like maybe to the equivalent of medium-dark brown hair.
Can ink be added to areas of remaining hair in order to make it appear darker?

Hey, I think I have a very similar hair situation to you; naturally high hairline and dark blonde fine hair. I was initially really worried about this as I tried shaving a patch of my hair and it was almost invisible. However, as I've recently started buzzing the entire sides and back of my head to a 0 (after a freak haircutting accident,) I've noticed that large areas when shaved are very visible. The dermmatch I apply beyond these shaved areas is actually lighter but still very noticeable.
I could PM you some pictures if you like. I'd suggest trying a hairstyle where you shave the back and sides just for preparation really. Mine happens to be a massive improvement.
Currently saving up for MHT, aim to get it done by May/ June
Using dermmatch on my frontal hairline and also to replicate shaved follicles on my side profiles.Posted 3 months ago # -
Denser, Definately.......
But Darker? I always thought HIS would only go as dark as your existing hair or it could look odd..??Correct me if im wrong....First and Second treatment complete... 3rd session done on March 28th.... Its looking good..Thanks alot Simon @ Birmingham..My journeys Thread http://forum.hishairclinic.com/topic/finally-hair-i-come-mhtPosted 3 months ago # -
@Fod Some pictures would be very nice. I really don't want to shave it down short until I can get the treatment, though. My hair looks horrible unless I keep it long
@Paul Making it denser WOULD esssentially make it appear darker. I know some people like Magic have darkened their whole treatment and I am sure it could be done at reasonable levels like what I am requesting.
