Want to meet up in the New York Metro area?

I promise to be discrete yet I would like to meet someone in the New York Metro area who is white with dark hair if that is at all possible. I'm flexible with the time and location of the meeting and it won't take more than a cup of coffees' worth of time. We can meet at any coffee shop or other public location of your choosing. Thank you in advance. JonB.Posted 1 year ago #

Hi JB, Ive noticed you looking for people in the New york Metro area in a few threads. If you really want to consider this you may have to travel out of your area where the chances of finding someone who visits these boards would be far greater. Ive only had one treatment so far and I'm already happy. So consider the freedom. just a suggestion, good luck man :)Posted 1 year ago #

Just a good laugh as I searched my old threads..I remember thinking back...is this the real deal or not and I tried to hook up with someone to see for myself.
I was lucky and I found a gentleman in the NY area to meet with me in april of 2010 before the nY office opened up.
You guys in the tri state area have it much easier now...as the office has opened up on 17th and 5th avenue.
My suggestion for those considering this..
Just go in for a consultation or meet up with someone who has had this done.
You'll know right then and there if its the right thing for you.
IMO only of course...its an amazing transformation ..
Just bringing upthis old old thread for old times sake..
All kidding aside guys...anyone in the area of the clinic...just head in and meet with the practioners...or previous customers if you can....and all your questions will be answered.
If your in the Northern NJ area you're welcome to contact me to meet up for a cup of coffee..
5 minutes and you'll know what you want to do.

He JB, already had my schedule this week and I already booked my three sittings beginning on March 30th. Like most of us guys who went the HT way back in the days and now regretted I am excited and a bit apprehensive about this new venture. I am 51 years old and married with children and I have been able to live a productive and rich life and in the grand scheme of things, hair and head problems should not really matter, but they have mattered to me personally. I live life to the fullest and to the day love to work out and sports which i do on a weekly basis; this problem has held me back some. I just hope that this is the right thing to do for me in terms of once and for all feeling good about my hair or lack of it for that matter. Met with Matt and went over the procedure and he went to tell me that yes things would work out for me, I guess i am just looking for more reassurance from fellow warriors here in this forum,, for only we know the way it is.

You made the right choices and you'll be pleased with the end result.
Congratulations on living the good life and at the same time not forgetting about yourself with this gentlemans service.
As long as you like the short crisp look of this style. You know you made the right choice.
Matt's a good guy. Have some fun and get ready for a nice new look.
One of the best things I've done for myself and I have a good feeling you'll be saying the same thing every day. I know I do.

Hey man thanks for the encouraging words, truly appreciated. I am really looking forward to it and can't hardly wait. I know i have to be patient and realize like a lot of clients in this forum that perhaps or better yet more likely after the first session results for the most part are not what they will be at the end of the process. I am just hoping that I could just swing it as a rash or irritation on my scalp and scar since this will be the first time in over 25 years that I go as short as I have to go here. What do you think about this?

Honestly? I believe going for a (ten minute) tan at a tanning salon a day or two before the first session worked wonders for me...as I have olive skin tone unknowingly gave me a redish look all over my face etc... so any redness on the top of my scalp ended up looking like just part of the tan.
I didn't do this on purpose back in oct. when I had my treatment but its the only thing I can think of that made my shaved head with MHT treatment redness a no big deal out in public the day of the treatment....
I guessing thats why it was not a problem to be out and about a few hours after getting the treatments?
Hope this helps..
Just something to think about..???
Don't worry about it either way....IMO ...we as people who are undergoing a rather unique process thats really quite out of the box so to speak..... are more consumed with any redness etc during the process...than anyone else out in the world is thinking about when they look at us.. ...
Thats my 2 cents for what its worth.
Have a good one!

JB, thanks. I also have olive skin, so I will surely try the tanning salon as well. Also you are right on the money when you say that "we," are really more aware about it than the rest of the world. Thanks for the help man. I will write about my process and I will try to load pictures as well.
