Hey guys,

I've managed to save every penny over the last few months and finally decided to get MHT done. I'll be doing it in Hong Kong with Jonathan and will keep you guys all posted on my progress with photos ofcourse :)

I'm still waiting for the actual dates from Jonathan as I type this, but it will be around the 19th of October 2011 (Yes I know! thats next month =D ).

For those of you who don't know my story and for those of you who might be interested... Currently I'm a Norwood 3. I had a hairtransplant about a year ago when I was 23 (BIG MISTAKE). Fortunately it was only 300 grafts (around my temples to hide my lucky horseshoe) and the strip scar is minimal... only 2 inches long. Since then I have had my grafts removed bty electrolysis. I treated my scarring on the transplanted areas with regular dermabrasion and vit E oil daily. It is more or less not noticeable any more.

My strip scar... well it didnt turn out so well. I went to a so called 'micropigmentation specialist' to hide my scar and they basically used the wrong color plus it looked like ink dots everywhere. I have had 2 laser tattoo removal sessions (which to my suprise has reduce the scarring somehow), however I may need more if it doesn't fade enough by the time I go to HIS in HK. So I may have to go next year to get my scar treated unfortunately.

Well im pretty excited, just need to decide on my hairline style =D

I have attached my current photos of the front and back.

Good for you Billy.... and you already pull off the shaved head well so the transition will be a smooth one for you. Also, you still have some hair up top so if anyone were to rub your head there'd be some stubble.... nice! I definitely think you're a good candidate, keep us posted and good luck!

Hey Guys,

Thanks for the feedback, really appreciate it. It can be quite depressing after going through hairloss as well as a failed HT :(
It was hard switching to Clean shaven look, especially when you have to lie about your scar. Im hoping that MHT treatment will boost my confidence and change my outlook on life. Its been a hard road for me this year.

Will keep you all posted with photos :)

Hey Gordon,

Your results look amazing. I would be on top of the world if I could get anything as close to what you got. However did your scar look as bad as mine before you got it done?

Good grief!  They really butchered you, didn't they?  Good job on the repair - it is pretty much undetectable now.
