Appreciate anyone with SMP telling me what moisturiser you use on your head?
Just lately my head has been peeling quite a lot. Three months after my final treatment (so don't think it's still healing causing it to do this) and I use a rotary shaver when my head is wet (so less friction).
Maybe my moisturiser isn't good enough. Just been using a Boots aloe vera one.
Thanks.

I like The Body Shop moisturiser, it ain't that cheap but comes with a SPF 15 rating which puts my mind at ease with British sunlight conditions, that is IF the sun does decide to show itself, also scentless. General skin care for me consists of a couple of drops of Jojoba oil, again not cheap but you need very little, a bit of heat from rubbing it in spreads it nicely. I'm certain my skin loves the lubrication and no alcahol ingredients involved.

Cheers SHVD. I've decided to try some oil on the scalp also. It's called Wonder Oil. It's been helpful thus far. Cheers for the suggestion.

New moisturiser I'm using. Meant for babies. Alcohol free.

I think WET shaving with ur rotary shaver might be the problem

Tap water has chlorine in it

As in "chlorine bleach"

And even more is put into the water during winter...for lowering the freezing point...so water doesnt freeze as easily and burst pipes

The tap water is drying out your scalp skin and making it flaky

And it takes how long to shave ur head?...15 mins total to do a real good job?

Thats 15 mins of tap water soaking into ur head

Day after day...month after month..year after year

Think about it

Our tap water here in Canada is extra bad during the winters

Try a FOIL shaver...dry...and rinse with bottled water (cause ZERO chlorine in it)

Thats what I do...and never need moisturizer EVER...and very little shine as well...no need for any mattifying

Oh, and Aloe Vera can actually dry you out

Cause of the added stuff in it

Unless you grow the plant yourself...and snip off a piece and get the gel that way
