  1. First Session Done in Birmingham.

    Will do mate, thanks.
  2. First Session Done in Birmingham.

The first three photo's (black t-shirt) were taken during a break on my third session. The next four were taken tonight (12/11/2017), four weeks after the third session. I shave with Remington hair clippers every two or three days which suits me, but I think that my crown would look even better if I used a razor or foil shaver. I will try it that way eventually but at the moment I'm happy with the clippers. Hope the photo's help someone either way to decide if it's right for them. It's definitely been the right decision for me.
  3. First Session Done in Birmingham.

Sorry for not posting my second session pictures straight way, I've not been on here for a while. I've had my third session done since and will upload those photo's shortly. I'm really pleased with the results. The pictures in the grey shirt and close up side view (I didn't realise my glasses were so tight, the indentation on my head is really bad lol) were taken the same day. The blue shirt photo's were taken a few days later when the redness was gone. A little word of warning, you need to wait four days after the session to shave your head and the hair on the back of my head grows very quickly so I had to go to work looking and feeling bald. If I'd realised I would have taken a week off work. That said, once I could shave it looked great. Sorry again for not posting sooner.
  4. First Session Done in Birmingham.

Thanks Noircat, Got my second session done last week and I'm really pleased with the results. I went with a lower hairline and glad I did.
  5. Sorry for the late post but I've had a hectic weekend. I finally drove the three and half hours (after a twelve hour nightshift ) to Birmingham on Saturday and had my first session with Marcus. I can't thank him enough, I think the results are fantastic and can't wait for my next session. The redness has gone already and we went out for a family meal yesterday (the day after) and no-one noticed. This is the first time in years I've appeared in public without DerMatch powder on my head and thought that everyone would know . My only regret is that I wanted a natural hairline but should have gone two inches lower. I know for my next session though. The photos don't do it justice but I've attached a couple anyway. Thanks again Marcus, see you again soon. The first and second photo's (second one shows my transplant scar coverage) were taken as we were walking out the clinic and the third is the day after.
  6. 21 balding. Need opinion on hairstyle and SMP

I agree with the previous posts. I'm bald no matter how short my hair is, but the shorter my hair is the less bald I look . I wish I had buzzed it 10+ years ago when I was thinning. I remember being anxious about doing it at the time but it made a remarkable difference and people didn't realise I was thinning. They just thought I'd changed my style but now I'm at the stage where I need SMP, you might not SMP yet.
  7. Andra Dascalu is awesome. Birmingham smp treatment

I'm finally booked in for treatment in Birmingham on 12/08/2017 and can't wait. If mine looks nearly as good as yours I'll be a very happy man.
  8. SMP Update: 8 Years Later (with Pictures)

Hi Vince, Your photo's are great, I particularly love your hairline, I think in most pictures I've seen (on youtube or websites) the hairline looks too severe and I'm concerned about the change being too dramatic when I get mine done. Thanks for posting them, it really is a big help to me, and I'm sure to others too who are considering the procedure but worried that it might fade or disappear within a few years. Ken.
  9. 2 Sessions / 50 days post op

Hi, I'm new to the forum so apologies if my concerns have been covered in depth in other threads. I've been researching SMP (and other treatments) for a couple of years now and was ready to go ahead with it but this thread really has me concerned now. My funds are limited, as I'm sure is the same for a lot of you, and if Beetlegeuise needs five sessions to achieve the desired result are these all included in the original price quoted or are you paying for every session until it is satisfactory? I hope this doesn't come across as a stupid question but it's already hard to justify to my wife and family when they don't see the need for me to have the treatment. You all at least understand why I need to have it done. Your latest photo's look much better by the way. Thanks, Ken.
  10. first procedure down!

Glad you're pleased with the second treatment. I'm busy researching (and saving) at the moment so your posts have been really helpful to me.
